▎Applications and Features

  • KTS-316 is an austenitic stainless steel containing 19% Cr, 12.5% Ni, and 2.5% Mo.
  • The addition of molybdenum provides excellent resistance to pitting corrosion and enhances performance against acetic acid, acetic anhydride, phosphoric acid, and chlorides.
  • KTS-316 is suitable for welding AISI 316 steels, as well as 13Cr and 18Cr steels that are not heat-treated after welding.
  • It is particularly recommended for welding stainless steels used in chemical processing vessels.
