KTS-309 is an austenitic stainless steel containing 24% Cr and 13% Ni. It is designed for dissimilar welding between carbon steels, Cr-Mo steels, and stainless steels, as well as for overlay welding and joining of AISI 309S, 13Cr, and 18Cr steels.

▎Features and Applications

KTS-309 is an austenitic stainless steel containing 24% Cr and 13% Ni.
With a balanced ferrite content, it offers excellent weldability and resistance to cracking.
Its higher nickel and chromium levels provide superior corrosion resistance and strength at temperatures up to 900 °C.
KTS-309 is ideal for dissimilar welding of carbon steels, Cr-Mo steels, and stainless steels, as well as for overlay welding and joining of AISI 309S, 13Cr, and 18Cr steels.
