▎Applications and Features

  • Weld metal is austenitic structure with low carbon 18%Cr-15%Ni-3%Mo.
  • Weld deposit similar to 316L with a high molybdenum content for increased corrosion resistance.
  • 0.02% carbon content increases resistance to intergranular corrosion.
  • Ideal for welding critical chemical vessels, such as AISI 316, 316L, 317 and 317L stainless steel.

▎Welding Instruction

  • Use Ar+1~2%O2 for spray transfer and Ar+1~2%CO2 for short-circuit transfer.
  • For other instructions, please refer to Appendix B and F.
