▎Applications and Features

  • KTS-316L is a low-carbon austenitic stainless steel containing 19% Cr, 12.5% Ni, and 2.5% Mo.
  • With the addition of molybdenum, it offers excellent resistance to pitting corrosion and strong resistance against acetic acid, acetic anhydride, phosphoric acid, and chlorides.
  • It is suitable for AISI 316L steels, or for welding 13Cr and 18Cr steels without post-weld heat treatment.
  • KTS-316L is well-suited for welding stainless steels used in chemical processing vessels.
